Spring Hockey
All current freshman, sophomores and juniors currently attending Metea Valley, Waubonsie Valley, Wheaton North or Wheaton Warrenville South and 8th graders who will attend in the 2024/2025 school year are welcome to participate.
Spring Details
The Warriors Hockey Club is planning to have up to three teams (one Varsity and two Junior Varsity) this spring consisting of a maximum of 20 players per team (18 skaters and 2 goalies).
Practices will start the week of April 1st. Each team will have weekly practices at All Seasons. Practices will be 90 minutes and held on alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Tryouts
Tryouts will be held on Monday, March 18th and Tuesday, March 19th at All Seasons Ice Rink. All players trying out for Spring will be required to attend. Final rosters will be published on Friday, March 22nd.
Monday, March 18th - all players required: 8:30 to 10:00 PM (All Seasons Red)
Tuesday, March 19th - coaches will advise which players are required to attend: 8:30 to 10:00 PM (All Seasons Blue)
Spring League
Teams will compete in the Spring League hosted by Neuqua Valley. The league starts the weekend of April 6th (potentially as early as Thursday, April 4th) and runs through the end of May. The schedule includes ten regular season games and the top four teams will advance to the playoffs. Games will be played at Canlan Ice Sports (1581 W. Normantown Road, Romeoville, IL 60446) primarily on Saturdays and Sundays, with some weekday games possible.
Fees
Skater fee of $750 and Goalie fee of $375 will be paid via Crossbar website. If you choose credit card as payment method additional fees apply ($15 for skater and $7.50 for goalie). No additional fees for ACH transfers.
Fees include a reversible spring jersey, shells, game socks, team practices and training for goalies (5 goalie training sessions during the spring).

- Signed Warriors Hockey Club Code of Conduct (to be uploaded to Crossbar when player is rostered on a team)
- New players only - Copy of birth certificate (bring paper copy to first day of tryouts)
