Spring Hockey
All 8th graders, freshmen, sophomores, and juniors currently attending (or will attend) Metea Valley, Waubonsie Valley, Wheaton North or Wheaton Warrenville South in the 2026/2027 school year are welcome to participate.
Spring Details
The Warriors Hockey Club is planning to have two teams (one Varsity and one Junior Varsity) this spring.
Following Spring Break week, our regular weekly practice schedule will start the week of April 5th and will end May 23rd. Each team will practice once per week with the JV practicing on Tuesday and the Varsity practicing on Thursday.
The first practice for JV will be Tuesday, April 7th (9:00 PM to 10:00 PM). The first practice for Varsity will be Thursday, April 9th (8:30 PM to 9:30 PM).
All schedules are being loaded onto the club website.
Tryouts
Tryouts will be held on March 23rd, March 24th, and March 25th at All Seasons Ice Rink. All players trying out for Spring will be required to attend. Final rosters will be published on Thursday, March 26th. Tryout schedule is as follows:
Monday, March 23rd – all players required: 8:30 to 10:00 PM (All Seasons Red)
Tuesday, March 24th - all players required: 8:30 to 10:00 PM (All Seasons Blue)
Wednesday, March 25th - Players as notified by coaches: 9:10 to 10:10 PM (All Seasons Red)
Spring League
Teams will compete in the Spring League coordinated by Neuqua Valley Hockey Club. The season will consist of 8 games primarily on Friday's, Saturday's, and Sunday's and will run from April 8th to May 21st. Games will be at All Seasons and Canlan-Romeoville. Top 4 teams in Varsity and JV divisions will have up to 2 additional games for playoffs.
Fees
Skater fee of $700 and Goalie fee of $350 will be paid via Crossbar website and include team practices, games and training for goalies. Any player new to the club will have a new player fee of $100 for spring jersey, socks, shell and hoodie. Any existing player in need of new spring jersey, spring socks, fall shell or hoodie can purchase as well.

2026 SPRING
Tryouts

The Spring Season will include 8 games with an option for 2 additional games as part of a playoff series. Games will be played at All Seasons or Canlan-Romeoville and will likely be on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
